Our Free Presentations
Following COVID-19 guidelines, we are scheduling live, in-person events, as well as offering virtual or pre-recorded presentations. Whether in-person or online, our presentations are a fun way to talk to students about tough topics. We can tailor your presentations to include any of the topics that are most valuable to you at this time.
ELEMENTARY: BULLYING & CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Geared toward grades 2-5, this empowering 1-hour presentation defines different types of bullying and how being bullied affects someone. Often, children don’t know what to do when they are the bystander of bullying. We help them understand why bullying happens and identify the different choices they have as bullies, the bullied, and the bystander. We also discuss the impact of bullying not just at school, but online through social media, and ways you can handle that through conflict resolution.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL: DRUGS & ALCOHOL
In this presentation, we discuss the three most commonly used drugs among teens in the Tampa Bay area. We discuss the truths about each drug and unpack the myths that come with them. We also include the latest statistics from our U.S. Surgeon General and encourage students to always say no to drugs and alcohol because they put your future at risk.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL: GOAL SETTING & THE FUTURE
What is a goal and why is it important to set them? Whether we do it consciously or not, we always have our minds set on goals. The real challenge with goals is not determining if we want the results, but if we are willing to accept the sacrifices required to achieve them. We help students set goals that will take their future where they want it to go.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL: SEXUAL RISK AVOIDANCE/ ABSTINENCE
Sex is good, but when it is in the proper context. In this presentation, we show how sex causes emotional and physical consequences when it is outside the context of a healthy, committed marriage. We do not shy away from discussing STD/STI’s and unplanned pregnancy. The choices students make today about sex will alter their future forever. They need education on the emotional, physical, and social consequences of sex, so they have the confidence to avoid risky behaviors.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL: SOCIAL MEDIA SAFETY
Social media can be a great tool for connecting with friends, family, and organizations like More2Life. But there are real media dangers and students need to learn how to use social media in a safe, healthy way. In this presentation, we talk about the good side of social media as well as the negative ways it can be harmful. We give students tips and tricks to using social channels safely. We also address predators within the media, the comparison game, and how to not let media consume too much time.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL: BUILDING HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS
Who do you interact with most often? Friends, parents, siblings, teachers, coaches, and classmates are all examples of relationships we encounter on a regular basis. We discuss how to build healthy relationships by using the 3 C’s; Compromise, Communication, and Commitment. In this presentation, students will learn how to use valuable skills to build healthy, non-toxic relationships in their life and in their future.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL: PEER PRESSURE & REFUSAL SKILLS
All teens feel pressured by others. We address two different types of peer pressure: positive and negative. We help teens understand the difference between the two forms of pressure and how positive role models can influence someone in good ways. This topic encourages making good, healthy choices for life. Students will learn refusal skills and how to say “no” in a clear, direct way.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL: FAITH-BASED OPTIONS
We can tailor any of our topics to include powerful, biblical teaching. When you click on Schedule Now, you’ll be able to let us know which topics interest you most and if you would like us to include a biblical approach to your presentation. More2Life has worked with churches, camps, and youth organizations in our area for over twenty years and we know how to bring God’s Truth to bear on today’s hottest teen topics.
ADULTS: PARENTING PROGRAM
Believe it or not, teens tell us that their parents are the most influential voice in their lives. The M2L Parent Education Program provides 1-hour presentations to encourage parents and equip them with resources on how to guide their child to healthy decision making during the teenage years.
